Let's go fly a kite

Today was one of those all-things-aligned-beautifully kind of days. Its been really peaceful and happy. My laundry isn't finished and my homework is far from done but I feel pretty relaxed. We packed up a picnic lunch and headed to the park with our new dragon kite. (Sorry about the lack of pictures. My camera's messed up.) The wind was just right, the kids really enjoyed it and we just had a nice day. Families need to have "wholesome recreational activity" on a regular basis. Making memories is so important to me. As my children are growing up I feel that more than ever. I'm so excited for summer to be able to spend my days just bein a mom.
